WrestleMania XXIV (24) comes live from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, with all the world championship belts on the line
In a solid line up of matches, the ECW champion Chavo Guerrero will face the winner of a 24 man battle royale which will take place just before this years event begins. The participants include the likes of The Great Khali, Kane, Tommy Dreamer and Stevie Richards. This will be the first WrestleMania in which the ECW Championship will be defended.
From Smackdown, the World Heavyweight Champion Edge faces the Undertaker, who has ammassed a superb winning streak at Wrestlemania event’s, having won all fifteen matches he has participated in over the years.
On Raw the WWE Champion Randy Orton faces John Cena and Triple H in a triple threat match, where the first person to score a pinfall or submission will be crowned the winner of the match. The odds are stacked against Randy Orton as he doesn’t have to be beaten to loose his title!
Finally in the championship picture this year’s “Money In the Bank” Ladder match is the biggest yet, with seven superstars set to enter the match. Mr. Kennedy, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho, Carlito, Montel Vontavious Porter, CM Punk and John Morrison will all be looking to grab the suitcase to guarantee themselves a shot of their World Title belt of their choosing at any time they want it!
Could this be Ric Flair’s final match? If he looses against Shawn Michaels, he will be forced to retire from the sport that he has competed in for over three decades!
Batitsa faces Umaga in a battle for brandy supremecy between the two flagship shows Raw and Smackdown.
Also on the card Finlay will look to gain some revenge against JBL after he viciously attacked his son Hornswoggle a few weeks ago.
