UFC 83 Serra v St-Pierre 2 Live Stream from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
UFC 83 Is the first UFC event to ever take place in Canada and will be headlined by UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Serra facing UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre.
Matt Serra is an American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and mixed martial artist, known for winning several martial arts championships. He made his UFC debut back in UFC 31: Locked and loaded, defeating Shonie Carter with a spinning back fist.
His last UFC fight was against Georges St. Pierre last July at UFC 69: Shootout, where he won the bout via a TKO.
Georges “Rush” Saint-Pierre made his UFC debut at UFC 46: Supernatural beating Karo Parisyan by Unanimous Decision. During his mixed martial arts career he has earned notable wins over Matt Hughes, Josh Koscheck, B.J. Penn, Frank Trigg, Jason Miller and Sean Sherk amongst others.
To celebrate the event being held in Canada, several prominent Canadian fighters are set to fight, including Kalib Starnes and Mark Bocek.
Mark Bocek will face the American Mac Danzing in a lightweight bout, Kalib Starnes faces the American Nate Quarry.
Also on the card are two Middleweight bouts, the first is an all American affair between Rich Franklin and Travis Lutter. The other sees the United Kingdom’s Michael Bisping face Charles McCarthy
