Hereford United have confirmed Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Cardiff City is completely sold out.
Hereford got past Tranmere Rovers in the last round thanks to a late moment of inspiration from Simon Johnson in the replay. The Bulls wide-man picked up possession 40 yards out, weaved past the Tranmere defenders, and curled the ball home with the outside of his boot.
Hereford United are currently enjoying a good season in League Two and are currently in fourth place in the table. They have collected 49 points so far this season, the same as 3rd place Darlington.
In the last round Cardiff overcame a potential banna skin fixture to beat FA Cup minnows Chasetown 3-1 away from home. A shock result looked to have been on the cards when an own goal by McNaughton gave the homeside the lead. However Cardiff came back with goals from Peter Whittingham, Aaron Ramsey and Paul Parry to ensure the victory.
Cardiff are currently enjoying a much improved run of form that has seen themselves move into 8th place in the Championship league table, only four points begind 6th placed Charlton and the play off places.
