Falkirk are currently in sixth place in the league table having collected 32 points so far this season, only three behind third placed Dundee United.
Falkirk were beaten by Aberdeen 3-1 in their last match, sending them out of the Scottish Cup, in a suprisingly one-sided encounter.
In their last league match, Falkirk suffered an embarassing 2-0 defeat at the hands of bottom club Gretna.
Celtic are currently second in the league table and are trailing rivals and leaders Rangers by four points.
In their last match, they recorded 1-0 victory over Kilmarnock, thanks to an own goal from Kilmarnock’s Martyn Corrigan.
Celtic have been busy in the transfer market as of late, with Andreas Hinkel arriving from Sevilla FC for 1.9 million and Japanese midfielder Koki Mizuno set to move from JEF United Ichihara Chiba.
