Chelsea v Everton Live Online League Cup

Chelsea get to play the first leg of the two match encounter at Everton at Stamford Bridge, giving themselves an opportunity to build up a lead ahead of the second leg.
Chelsea booked their place in the semi finals of the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Liverpool in the last round.
The match was a close contest, but second half goals from midfielder Frank Lampard and a stoppage time strike by Shevchenko sealed the victory.
Everton overcame West Ham at Upton Park in their quarter final tie with a 2-1 victory. They found themselves behind in that game with just 12 minutes gone via a goal by Carlton Cole.
However, David Moyes’ side fought their way back and goals from Leon Osman and a winner by Yakubu with just two minutes to go set up the tie.
With Chelsea perhaps looking forward to a league challenge and attempting to win the Champions League, Everton may fancy themselves to overcome Avrim Grant’s side over the two matches. If they are going to do that, they will need a positive result to take back to Goodison Park.
