Cameroon v Zambia Live Online

Cameroon suffered a bad defeat in their opening match of the group, loosing 4-2 at the hands of the defending African Cup of Nations Champions Egypt. Egypt had ammassed a 3-0 half time lead, but Samuel Eto’s two goals gave the score line more credability.
On paper, the Indomitable Lions have one of the better squads in the tournament, with the likes of Barcelona striker Samuel Eto and Espanyol Goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.
Zambia looked comfortable in their opening match, brushing aside lowly Sudan by a 3-0 scoreline with goals from James Chamanga, Jacob Mulenga and Felix Katongo. This was a great start for the team, who wasn’t fancied to progress past the first round before the tournmanet began.
Zambia’s biggest threat is likely to come from striker and captain Christopher Katongo, who missed the opening match due to suspension.
Cameroon will be all to aware of the fact that they will now need to beat Zambia and Sudan if they are going to qualify for the next round. If Zambia can prevent that from happening, they could be set to qualify for the quarter finals of the tournament for the first time since the 1996.
